Youth Mentorship
Childhood Literacy
Park Fitness Center's mission is to build a community of women that are committed to lifelong physical fitness, mental wellness, and social development; while creating a recreation environment that promotes youth physical fitness, literacy and socio-emotional development.
Park Fitness Center aspires to have more community events, literacy, and youth sports programs in the upcoming year. We need donations for sports equipment, space rentals, nutrition, and any fees all donations will go towards membership needs and to maintain free fitness.
The Wildflowers Mentorship is a program for high school girls in underserved communities. Young women are given the opportunities to have candid discussions about topics that effect women in society.
This mentorship provides professional women and high school girls with the opportunities to build support and positive relationships through physical fitness, social development, and mental wellness.
The 2018-2019 school year is the 2nd year Park Fitness Center, has worked with mentors and young women in the Oak Park community.
Over the summer, Wildflower Alumni have settled into colleges like: Louisiana State University, San Francisco State University, and University of California, Santa Cruz. We are excited to support former and new Wildflowers!
Tutor Hub is a Park Fit Program that was created to address the academic and socio-emotional needs of students in the Sacramento, through direct small group instruction.

We are committed to partnering with students, parents, school leaders, and administrators to support students find success through education.


Lisa is a Sacramento Personal Trainer that has many testimonies to share with our sisterhood and a forces to be reckoned with! She will be our resident trainer for our summer fitness program and currently runs Strength Bootcamps in Lincoln Village Park and Strength training at Kidds Gym. Her expertise in fitness is just one facet of her compelling life story. Lisa is a mother of five and an addiction survivor.
She has overcome drugs/alcohol, domestic abuse, homelessness and instead of staying in a place of hopelessness and despair, she chose her health! Her fitness and spiritual journey has manifested into a mission to help women worldwide. Her transformation is one to be admired and celebrated!

Art Rosa is a 27 year old Sacramento artist that hopes to distribute her art nationwide. She is Park Fit’s resident artist and has been showcased at Trap Art Oakland and SacTown Veggies Fest. She is a mother of three girls and paints on her free time. Tasia started drawing in elementary school but it was not until 2016 that she decided to showcase her artistry.
When asked what motivates her she said “everything people, places, subtleties in the world”. She hopes her art helps people in their healing processes. She wants her work to be transformative and to be interpreted several ways.
